Documentary on ‘Harry Potter’ star Rob Knox coming to ITV

(K)Nox: The Rob Knox Story, is due to be available on ITV later this month.

This year marks fifteen years since the tragic murder of Harry Potter rising star, Rob Knox. Rob Knox was only 18 when he was stabbed, protecting his own brother from an unprovoked attack. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was due to come out soon after, in which he plays Marcus Belby.

An award-winning documentary has been created in his memory and in a bid to raise awareness of knife crime in the UK. (K)Nox: The Rob Knox Story will be available to stream on ITVX from 23rd February.

The documentary, which was produced with the support of the Rob Knox Foundation, follows Rob’s life right up until 2008 when the incident took place. It will also follow the investigation made by police after his murder. Emotional interviews with Rob’s fellow castmates such as Tom Felton and Jim Broadbent, as well as archive interviews of Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.

Rob had supposedly signed on to the next Harry Potter film, returning as his character Marcus Belby. At the London premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, that Rob was expected to attend, all of his castmates wore a white wristband in honour of him.
