New Hope Club shared two new singles with their fans this week called L.U.S.H. and Walk It Out.
New Hope Club seem to be releasing brand new music every few months and fans were thrilled when two new singles were announced last week.
L.U.S.H. and Walk It Out are both teasers for the band’s upcoming second album, a release date for that hasn’t yet been announced. Both of the brand new songs are all written by Blake, Reece and George.
L.U.S.H. is an abbreviation for Love You So Hard as the song lyrics say. The guitar based pop song is set to be a hit for New Hope Club. It is the perfect pop anthem with the lyrics describing an exciting relationship. The band said of the tune: “L.U.S.H. walks the line of pop and rock which we do quite a lot on this album, it’s two genres that we have grown up listening to. This was the first song we wrote with John Ryan, who was absolutely amazing to work with. We wrote it in a cabin in the middle of lockdown.”
Walk It Out is slightly different from L.U.S.H but is definitely not an out of the ordinary song for the trio. It has a certain rockier feel to it and it is certainly a song to get hyped up to. George, Blake and Reece spoke of how they wanted to write a song that could end up in FIFA and Walk It Out is the one that would fit perfectly: “Walk It Out was the last song we wrote for the album. We are all huge fans of FIFA the football game and wanted to write a song that could fit right into an old FIFA soundtrack.”
2022 has been an extremely exciting year for New Hope Club with a world tour and headlining a festival in Asia! Who else can’t wait to see what they have in store next?
