Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson are reuniting for a Return To Hogwarts special coming on 1st January.
How exciting is this news for Potterheads! The Golden Trio are set to reunite for a one-off special for Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone 20th anniversary. It will be the first time Daniel, Rupert and Emma have reunited since the final Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 premiere, you can see a photo from that day below.
The three main characters won’t be the only ones included in the livestream. Helena Bonham-Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch and Chris Columbus will all be included in the special. It has also been promised that ‘many more’ actors will be making an appearance.
The only important person who hasn’t been tipped off to be in the reunion is the author herself, J.K. Rowling. There has been no mention of her so at the moment, it’s unclear as to whether she will be featured.
The Return To Hogwarts special includes in-depth interviews with each of the actors, never seen before behind-the-scenes and clips of the iconic films alongside even more exciting surprises.
It has all been filmed at Warner Bros. Studio Tour – The Making of Harry Potter, which will be nostalgic not only for the cast and crew but for the fans as well.
The special will begin streaming on HBO Max from 1st January. Who else is screaming right now writing this date on the calendar?
