The Vamps celebrate ninth anniversary

Believe it or not, The Vamps have now been together for nine years! The British foursome first started out as a band together back in 2012.

James McVey was the one who started the search for the rest of the members, who he then found through YouTube with their current manager. James scouted Bradley Will Simpson and Tristan Evans, then a year later the three hopefuls found Connor Ball and The Vamps was born.

The Vamps first rose to fame in 2013 with the release of their debut single Can We Dance which soared to number 2 on the UK charts. It was the lead single of their EP and also became the lead single of their debut album.

Since rising to fame, The Vamps have had two number one albums, played multiple shows globally on seven world tours and are expecting to embark on their next UK tour next month. They’ve also made history by being the first ever and only ever act to perform at the O2 Arena for five consecutive years.
